Dear international talent friends,

To create a platform of displaying and mutual learning for foreign talents in Beijing who love Chinese language, promoting the exchange and integration of diverse cultures, and enriching your life in Beijing, the “Brilliant Chapters: My Beijing Story” 2025 Foreign Talents Chinese Language Contest, hosted by Beijing Overseas Talents Center and co-organized by ChinesePlus, is launched. We warmly invite all foreign friends working or studying in Beijing to register!

Whether you’re a beginner to learn Chinese language or a “China hand” well-versed in Chinese culture, as long as you have a passion for Chinese language learning and your own “Beijing story”, we sincerely look forward to your participation in this celebration of language and culture!

一、参与对象

所有对中文感兴趣的在京工作学习的外籍人才

Ⅰ.Who can participate?

The contest is open to all foreign talents working or studying in Beijing with an interest in Chinese language.

二、赛程安排

初赛作品征集期：2025年9月12日-10月10日

初选公示：2025年10月20日（公布入围决赛名单）

决赛备战期：2025年10月-11月

线下总决赛：2025年11月下旬-12月中旬（具体日期及场地将提前2周公布）

Ⅱ.What’s the schedule?

Preliminary submission period: From September 12 to October 10, 2025

Preliminary results announcement: October 20, 2025 (finalists released)

Final preparation period: From October to November 2025

Offline final: Between late November and mid-December 2025 (specific date and venue to be announced 2 weeks in advance)

三、比赛要求

（一）初赛·云端展风采

1.围绕“京彩华章·我的北京故事”主题，创作1-3分钟原创视频。视频内容包括：在北京的难忘瞬间；北京的名胜古迹、非遗文化、四季流转、人间烟火气等；北京和自己家乡或其他地方的不同；在北京工作生活的经历经验等。投稿作品内容健康，积极向上。

2.创意形式不限，包括：Vlog记录、脱口秀、情景短剧等；语言要求：按照时长测算，不少于1/2的视频内容应使用中文进行讲述，实时讲述或画外音讲述均可。

3.视频格式要求：视频应横屏拍摄，建议使用三脚架、稳定器等专业辅助设备，确保拍摄效果；视频应为MP4/MOV高清视频，像素为1920×1080，即1080p分辨率；视频底部应设置中文字幕，字幕部分不超过视频整体版面的1/4。                

4.作品须原创，参赛者须出镜；视频中不应体现任何与活动无关的第三方LOGO。

（二）决赛·舞台见真章

1.经过专业评委评审后，8名参赛者将入围决赛。

2.比赛内容：第一环节是主题演讲。参赛者围绕“京彩华章·我的北京故事”主题，用中文进行不超过3分钟的主题演讲。第二环节是即兴问答。参赛者从“北京文化盲盒题目”中抽取专属题目，进行现场问答。

Ⅲ.Contest requirements

1.Preliminary Round · Shine Online

(1) Create an original 1-3 minute video around the theme “Brilliant Chapters: My Beijing Story.” Content ideas include: unforgettable moments in Beijing; Beijing’s historic sites, intangible cultural heritage, seasonal changes, or everyday life vibes; comparisons between Beijing and your hometown or other places; experiences of working and living in Beijing, etc. Submissions should feature content that is wholesome and uplifting.

(2) Creative forms are unlimited, such as Vlog recordings, talk shows, skits, etc. Language requirement: At least half of the video content should be in Chinese, either through on-camera narration or voice over.

(3) Video format requirements: Shot in landscape mode; it’s recommended to use professional auxiliary equipment like tripods or stabilizers to ensure shooting quality. The video should be in MP4/MOV high-definition format with a resolution of 1920×1080 (1080p). Chinese subtitles need to be added at the bottom of the video, and the subtitle area should not exceed 1/4 of the total video screen.

(4) Works must be original, and participants need to appear in the video. Third-party logos unrelated to the event are not allowed to be displayed in the video.

2.Final Round · Showcase on Stage

(1)After evaluation by professional judges, 8 participants will advance to the final.

(2)Contest content

First round: Themed speech. Participants deliver a Chinese speech on “Brilliant Chapters: My Beijing Story” within 3 minutes.

Second round: Impromptu Q&A. Participants draw exclusive questions from “Beijing Culture Mystery Box” and answer them on the spot.

上述获奖者将被授予荣誉证书及奖品。所有活动参与者均将获得参赛证书，凭证书可优先报名参加2026年的“乐学中文”项目。
