6月19日，由北京海外学人中心主办，中央民族大学、北京外国语大学、北京工业大学承办的“与青年对话 与中国同行”外国专家系列讲座启动式暨首场讲座在中央民族大学知行堂举办。作为2025北京国际人才嘉年华的一项重要活动，外国专家系列讲座将邀请获得“中国政府友谊奖”的10位外国专家担任主讲嘉宾，讲述他们与中国同向，与新时代同行的感人故事，并向青年人才的未来发展提供建议和帮助，吸引更多国际人才来京创新创业。
Beijing, June 19 - The launching ceremony and inaugural lecture of the "Dialogue with Youth, Progress with China" foreign experts lecture series was successfully held at Zhixing Hall of Minzu University of China. The event was organized by Beijing Overseas Talents Center and co-hosted by Minzu University of China, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Beijing University of Technology. As a key component of the Beijing International Talents Carnival 2025, the lecture series will feature 10 recipients of the Chinese Government Friendship Award as guest speakers. These distinguished foreign experts will share their inspiring stories of working and growing alongside China's development, while providing valuable advice to young talents. The initiative aims to attract more international professionals to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship in Beijing.
北京海外学人中心党委书记、主任虎翼雄，中央民族大学党委常委、副校长王志，系列讲座发起人、中央民族大学外国语学院教授马克•力文，以及来自各组织单位的代表出席活动，60余位中外专家和学生代表参加。本次活动由中央民族大学外国语学院院长吴泽庆主持。
Participants of the event included Hu Yixiong, Secretary-General and Director of Beijing Overseas Talents Center, Wang Zhi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Minzu University of China(MUC), and Mark Levine, initiator of the series and professor at School of Foreign Studies in MUC, along with representatives from other institutions. Over 60 Chinese and foreign experts and student representatives participated in the event, hosted by Wu Zeqing, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages.
虎翼雄在致辞中表示，希望通过十位中国政府友谊奖获得者的精彩分享，勉励和启发青年人才，尤其是外籍青年人才在中国、在北京施展才华、创新发展。当前，北京正加快建设国际科技创新中心，欢迎更多国际青年人才在这片热土实现人生价值。
In his address, Hu Yixiong expressed hope that the sharing by these Friendship Award recipients would inspire young talents, especially international students, to realize their potential in Beijing. "As Beijing accelerates its development as an international sci-tech innovation center, we warmly welcome global young talents to achieve personal growth in this vibrant city," he said.
王志在致辞中表示，外国专家系列讲座汇聚了在华深耕、贡献卓著的外国专家智慧，为中外青年搭建理解中国发展、拓宽国际视野、促进文明互鉴的桥梁。他特别感谢了系列讲座发起人和首讲嘉宾马克•力文教授，并代表校方向他赠送了“宅兹中国”的书法作品。
Wang Zhi noted that the lecture series pools wisdom from foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions in China, serving as a bridge to enhance mutual understanding and cultural exchanges. He presented Professor Levine with a special gift - a calligraphy work inscribed with "宅兹中国(Living in This Land of China)" - in recognition of his efforts in initiating the series.
作为外国专家系列讲座发起人，马克•力文教授以“唱响我的中国故事”为题进行了首场讲座，向中外学生代表讲述其2005年至今在华工作和生活的经历。在悠扬的弦音中，马克•力文教授用歌声串联起他在中国的所见所感，用动人的旋律讲述中国故事。现场响起阵阵掌声，反响热烈。
Professor Mark Levine delivered the inaugural lecture titled "Singing My China Stories to the World" , sharing his experiences of living and working in China since 2005. Woven with melodious songs and music, his personal observations and stories of China received warm applause from the audience.
“与青年对话 与中国同行”外国专家系列讲座将于6月-9月期间开展，来自生态科学、医疗健康、人文教育、新闻传媒等领域的外国专家将陆续登台分享，传递知识经验，交流思想洞见，共享发展机遇。
The "Dialogue with Youth, Progress with China" lecture series will continue from June to September, featuring foreign experts from various fields such as ecological science, healthcare, humanities education, and media. These sessions will facilitate knowledge sharing, idea exchange, and exploration of development opportunities.
