Beijing has always been the most prosperous place in China for innovation and the leading destination for overseas talents. Beijing is also the country's political center, culture center, international communication center and technological innovation center. China’s regulations on introducing talents, such as the national “Recruitment Program of Global Experts” (also called “The Thousand Talents Plan”) and the "Beijing Overseas Talents Project", have attracted a large number of excellent overseas returnees. Up to now, 1058 returnees are listed in the “Beijing Overseas Talents Project” and among them, 250 have been selected into the "Recruitment Program of Global Experts". Beijing has advantages in human resources, research facilities and capital market. Through perfecting its policy environment, cultural environment, information environment, talent environment and financing environment, this amazing city is dedicated to embrace more top talents and to make their dreams come true.

The 2018 Beijing Tour for Overseas Talents aims to attract high-level talents and offer high-quality services. Top talents can choose a new career in municipal hospitals, colleges, universities and enterprises, or start a business to carry out R&D projects and commercialize them. We will organize various activities including but not limited to forums, symposiums, workshops, venture contests, and site visits.

Application Requirements

Applicants for the “Entrepreneurial Talents” should meet the following requirements.
1.Education: Master’s degree or above from overseas institutions.
2.Knowledge and Skills: Possessing industrial projects or patented technology.

Applicants for the “Professional Talents” should meet the following requirements.
1.Education: PhD or postdoctoral degree from international prestigious university.
2.Experience: Certain achievements in related fields.

Attention Please:
1.The overseas returnees who have set to work in China, or have participated in the “Beijing Tour for Overseas Chinese Talents” program in previous years are NOT ELIGIBLE for this year’s activity.
2.Those who summit forged application documents will be blacklisted.

3.Deadline: 17:00 Sept 10th, 2018 (Beijing Time)

Attention Please:
1.Please submit your application materials ASAP as seats are limited
2.Applicants HAVE TO choose between “Entrepreneurial” and “Professional”. Choosing or applying both types will be regarded as invalid.
3.The organizing committee will send out the official invitation letter before 21th,Sept.
4.The organizing committee reserves the right of interpretation of matters above.

Notes

The organizing committee will provide accommodation, transportation and site visits in Beijing, as well as a reimbursement allowance for the cost of international travel (sell below) for those who receive the official invitation letter.

The subsidy can NOT be offered unless the following documents are provided.
1.Passport (Time of entry no earlier than 30th Sept, 2018)
2.Air ticket itinerary
3.Original copy of the boarding pass

Reimbursement allowance standard varies from the place of departure.
1.Participants from Europe/America/Australia: RMB 5000 yuan/person
2.Participants from the Asian-Pacific region: RMB 3000 yuan/person

Attention Please:
1.If the actual expenses on flight ticket is below the standard, only the actual costs can be reimbursed.
2.If the flight ticket is redeemed by frequent-flier miles or credits, no reimbursement allowance is provided.
3.Participants are expected to check in on time and participate in all activities.
4.The activities are exclusive to those who are officially invited. Family members of the invited will not be served.
